Transforming Vierra’s social branding across 8 channels and optimising their landing page.

Background

Vierra was an early-stage start-up, an agency in the digital marketing space. They offered social media marketing and services like web design. They had a web-app which was in development. And their goal was to generate more clients through finishing their web-app. And have a social media presence to scale their business.

Vierra was an early-stage start-up, an agency in the digital marketing space. They offered social media marketing and services like web design. They had a web-app which was in development. And their goal was to generate more clients through finishing their web-app. And have a social media presence to scale their business.

Problem

Vierra’s web app/website had several UI/UX issues, including an unclear value proposition as well as spelling and grammar errors. The brand also lacked cohesive assets for social media. Vierra asked me to strengthen their social media presence, refine and evolve the existing concept, improve the overall UI/UX, and expand the web app to more devices.

Design highlights:

  • UI/UX enhancements: Redesigned their landing page fixing 12+ UI/UX problematic areas.

  • Social media assets: Designed 8 brand assets including banners for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Discord and GitHub.

    • Created email signature banner for brand consistency.

  • Recruitment assets: Created 2 recruitment banners and 6 LinkedIn post variations which lead to 4+ people being recruited.

  • Prototyping: Designed and implemented a blog system, enabling scalable content publishing and improving long-term content and SEO strategy.

I was tasked with refining UI/UX issues, enhancing and evolving the web app, and designing responsive layouts for new pages, along with creating social media assets. I discussed what I had to do with leadership. I then collaborated with team members to present, discuss, and refine designs. My expectations within the timeframe was to make the web app more responsive and support them with social media assets. As well as gauge my expertise to improve what they had.

I improved their main landing page by fixing 12 UI/UX problematic areas. Their main landing page had many problems including an unclear value proposition, wrong fonts, spacing as well as spelling and grammar errors. The changes made the page visually uniform and easier to understand.

I followed an iterative process and designed 8 brand assets including banners for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Discord and GitHub. I also generated signature banners for email. I took colours, fonts and visual elements from their main landing page so that everything felt related to each other. These brand assets created a consistent brand presence across channels.

I delivered a focused recruitment campaign by designing 2 high-impact banners and 6 LinkedIn posts, by following an iterative design process. Giving the team versatile, platform-ready assets to attract and engage potential candidates.
